Aloha Parents:

Our transition department shares room P-6 with PCNC, so there are a lot of resources available. What is transition all about? Mokapu’s Transition Center is open to any and all incoming and outgoing students and families of military service. We are committed to providing a caring, challenging, culturally enriched environment that will promote academic achievement and a successful adjustment to the Mokapu Elementary Community. We are here to help you, our families through any and all changes and adjustments. These changes may involve hopes, fears, emotions, new surroundings, new ideas, and most of all, a new school and making new friends, for your children. Transition services are offered at school level, in support of both the student and the family. Transition also supports those with difficulties and disabilities. Our new center also has two computers that are available for you, our families, to use when we are not assessing our incoming students. Please call us or come by.

Mokapu’s Transition Center is open to any and all incoming and outgoing students and families of military service. The center is located in room P-6, at the front of the school campus.

Mokapu’s Transition Center is a transition and orientation experience addressing the needs of mobile students. The Transition Center is committed to providing a caring, challenging, culturally enriched environment that will promote academic achievement and a successful adjustment to the Mokapu Elementary Community.

Transition means . . .
our families are going through changes and adjustments. These changes involve hopes, fears, emotions, new surroundings, new ideas, and most of all, a new school and making new friends.

Transition services are offered . . .
at school level, in support of both the student and the family. Transition also supports those with difficulties and disabilities. Families are invited to come to our Transition Center to create new ways to be involved with their children and remain a part of their school life as they grow and learn. In transition services, we can look forward to accomplished adults.
